I was under the impression that this was true, and that the developers didn't want to take this risk because they might not get sales for it. However, after testing the game and getting some good opinions from people who are already playing it, I am pleased to say that there is no reason to believe this is true.The game is already popular on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so the developers did not want to make the port any harder on the developers. They wanted to keep up with the times as far as game versions go. It's also something that the Xbox One does better than the PS4 because they have much better horsepower. You can imagine that they are testing the game to ensure that it runs as well as possible.If you have the console, you are probably aware that Fortnite won't launch on Nintendo Switch. This is because they want to make sure that it matches up wi th their console version.Even though Rocket League, which is another game on the same genre, is not available on Xbox or PlayStation, the game was developed to be perfect for both of them.
